Gretchen was admitted to practice in Illinois in 2011. She is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law (J.D.) and the College of the Holy Cross (B.A., History). As a member of the Illinois bar, Gretchen is authorized to practice immigration law throughout the U.S. Gretchen entered the immigration field over a decade ago in 2005, when she worked as a legal assistant at a boutique immigration law firm, which helped fashion her love of immigration law and ultimately her pursuit of a law degree. Gretchen’s prior immigration experience also includes four years practicing at a firm focusing primarily in family and removal defense immigration law, an internship at the National Immigrant Justice Center, and representing clients as a student in DePaul’s Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic. Gretchen is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and serves as Co-Chair of the AILA Chicago Chapter Ethics Committee.
